Porn is that age-old subject that seems to endlessly divide people – most notably women. Some call it misogynistic and out-dated, others can’t get enough of it.

Pornography addiction means being compulsively addicted to pornographic material despite the negative mental, physical and social effects. It is a behavioral addiction like compulsive internet use or cybersex addiction. Although diagnostic criteria does not exist for this disorder, it is seen as a compulsive disorder. Like pathological gambling or internet addiction, porn addicts see a decrease in the ability to stop, an increase in use over time, as well as adverse mental effects.
Internet addiction is particularly dangerous due to its accessibility and never ending supply. One survey found that of 9,265 participants, 1% of Internet users are clearly addicted to cybersex and 17% of users meet criteria for problematic sexual compulsivity. more
Men have better sex with women who are emotionally unstable, a study has revealed.
And women prefer men who are less agreeable but pay attention to detail, according to the German survey of a thousand people.
We already know that a person’s perception of how compatible they are with their partner makes for a great sex life.
But until now, how someone’s personality influenced another’s sex life had not been widely studied.
Lead researcher Julia Velten and her colleagues interviewed each volunteer about their sex lives, personality and sexual function. more
